This is an old piece (last summer) but we keep doing the Bead People, and I just love it, so here it is! This morning we went to St. Elizabeth Seaton school in Rapid City, and did the Bead People with a first grade class. It is so amazing to see how excited people get when they see the bead people - everybody, and I mean everybody, from little tiny kids to adults of any age just falls in love with them. I’ve been rebuilding our new website, that has a beadblog for the bead people but it’s not ready yet, but soon, soon. Until then, I hope you enjoy the Bead People. I know they enjoy you.
Speak Dog, Speak!
I've been working on our original website Oyate Ta Olowan. We've been working on adding digital downloads to the site, but it's still a challenge. Oyate is a public radio series that we did on traditional Native American music. We did 52 half hour shows and traveled over 100,000 miles collecting music from all over the Americas. It was a while ago, but people still seem to love it, so we keep offering the shows for sale. It's all a part of our little press Many Kites Press. Life is so amazing, and so full, but we keep on trucking. I hope things are going well for all of you, and that continue to create wonderful things. Later, Milt Lee

I can see why this is a favorite.
Love your juxtaposition of live bead-making footage with the bead people ‘puppets’. Worked splendidly.
this is a great piece. Beaders everywhere would be blissed out to see it! I think you could also make it a beaders anthem!
