Last week, I was lucky to be able to attend SilverDOCS film festival and conference in Silver Spring, MD. Jamie and I spent the week in Silver Spring, where there were over 100 documentary films, and a five day conference on documentary film making. One of the events that I attended was the panel given by the National Minority Consortia. At the end of the panel I asked what were the various organizations doing to promote vlogging on their websites. I thought their answers were instructive. We shall see how it plays out. Each one assured me that they were working away to make it very friendly for people to vlog on their sites. If you go to the link, you can get to each of their websites to judge for yourself.

You have to go see this movie. It was so much fun, and poignant at the same time. I really loved the sweetness of it. I didn’t know that it was directed by the same guy that did Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind - which I also loved a lot. It’s kinda screwball comedy, which I admit I’m a sucker for, but it’s really such a sweet movie. It’s not crude. It’s not mean. It’s not bathroom jokes. It’s just such a sweet movie (did I mention it’s basic humanity?). So I also realized that this is in fact the Perfect vlogger movie. It really embraces the vlog ethic.
